Our comprehensive garden design service seamlessly takes you from the ideas stage to the final planning stage, with step-by-step details provided throughout. What can you expect?

1. Initial visit and site survey

The important first step

During a visit to your home, our designer will find out exactly what you want from your new or re-styled garden. A detailed brief will be taken, when you will be asked about style, colours, materials and purpose (for example, if it needs to be family-friendly, if you have any pets, how you will use the space and whether or not it needs to be low maintenance). We will then measure and undertake a survey of your outdoor space, and take plenty of photographs, before the design process begins.

2. Garden styling

Modern, traditional, natural or family-focused?

We will help you style your outside garden space so that it links harmoniously with the inside of your home. In keeping with your lifestyle and tastes, Evergreen will help you create the perfect outdoor room using a combination of colours, materials and plants. Outdoor living can incorporate features such as an outdoor kitchen, a water feature or an area for the children or pets – the choice is yours.

3. Design and planning

Experience your garden before it’s built

Our designers will create a bespoke 2D colour concept plan and mood board, including a general planting bed layout with labels and recommendations of plant types. You will also be given the option of a stunning 3D render, which will help you visualise your new garden from every angle – even what you might see looking out the window to your garden – before it’s created. You can imagine how your garden will look in the morning, afternoon and evening.

An amazing video fly-through (see video above) takes you right around the garden; a feature your friends and family will really enjoy watching – it’s the next best thing to being there. Other design services include exterior lighting ideas/plans, as well as construction plans and drawings. All this material will be presented to you by our designer in your home, so you can make any amendments before we estimate build costs.
